Congratulations! You've written and recorded your first spoken word piece. One more brief assignment and you're done.

 

Open up a word processor and respond to the following questions with at least 1-3 sentences each.

 

1. Reflect on the process of writing your spoken word piece. What did you find difficult? What did you find easy?

2. Did you make changes to your spoken word piece when you were recording it or playing it back? Did hearing the words make editing easier?

3. What do you think about spoken word as a form of communication and expression? Would you ever use it creatively outside of this assignment?
