Gloria is a graduate student with Southern New Hampshire University majoring in psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology. Her hobbies include reading, being a dog mom, knitting/crotcheting, volleyball, and basketball. This will be her second year as an advisor, and she's very excited to continue this journey!

Hailey is a 2025 graduate from the University of Rhode Island with BAs in Secondary Education and English. She was a Teaching Fellow for Breakthrough Manchester for two summers, and is excited to continue pursuing her passion in equitable education advocacy and intensive student support services as an advisor for Breakthrough Manchester College Bound.

Nate is a junior at Amherst College studying political science and math. He has been a teaching fellow for one summer, and this is his second year as a college bound advisor. He loves reading, taking photos, and anything related to the outdoors!

Valerie is a 2x graduate from Southern New Hampshire University with her primary studies surrounding Psychology and Mental Health. Her hobbies include photography, drawing, watching Anime, and basketball. This year she will be returning as a co-advisor, and she's very excited to see how much the scholars have all grown and accomplished!

Xiomara is a senior at the University of New Hampshire and is majoring in Music Education. Xiomara is excited to continue being an advisor for the College Bound program and as an alum of the program looks forward to continue her involvement with this wonderful community. She is passionate about the fine arts, especially music, and looks forward to helping younger students succeed in high school and beyond.

Lorissa is a fourth year student majoring in elementary education at Southern New Hampshire University. She is a Breakthrough Manchester and College-Bound alumna having been with the program since middle school. Lorissa enjoys nature, cooking, music, and the other arts. She is very excited to enter her second year as a Breakthrough Advisor!

Max is a junior at Amherst College studying Math and Philosophy, and this is his his first year working with College Bound. In his free time you can find him hiking, climbing, and tinkering with electronics!

Morgan received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Educational Studies from Bennington College in 2025 and is now working as the Program Director at Breakthrough Manchester. She’s currently pursuing her graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Edu. Leadership. When she’s not in the schools, she can be found napping. crafting, playing guitar, or chasing her dog.

Nancy is a Sophomore at Dartmouth College studying Physics and Global Health on the pre-medical track. She is a Breakthrough student, teaching fellow, and College-Bound student alum, and is thrilled for her second year as an advisor! Outside of school, Nancy enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing field hockey.

Yakira is a Sophomore at Emerson College, majoring in Media Arts Production and minoring in Business Studies. Outside of school, Yakira has a bunch of hobbies to fill up her free time. A couple of them are hiking, baking/cooking, and reading. She also dedicates herself to filmmaking and photography, which she also loves to talk about. Yakira is excited to enter her second year as a CB advisor and can't wait to see how the year will go.

Zue is originally from Peru and graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) with a degree in Law. She is currently a senior at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing her second degree in Justice Studies with a concentration in Law & Legal Process. She is excited to be part of the Breakthrough community and looks forward to supporting and mentoring students.

Avi is a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. They are studying history and education in order to become a social studies teacher. Before working at College Bound, Avi spent two summers teaching in the Breakthrough Manchester middle school program.

Byron is a current rising sophmore at SNHU where is pursuing a degree in both Marketing and Education. He has been a part of the Breakthrough community for 7 years now through his former experiences as a Breakthrough and College Bound student, Super Saturday intern, Program Assistant, And a Summer Teaching Fellow for 3 years. He enjoys traveling, music, and hanging out with friends in his spare time.

Caitlyn is a sophomore at the University of New Hampshire, studying Biomedical Science. She likes to make jewelry, paint her nails, and travel the world. As a BTM and CB alum, Caitlyn is so excited to be a new advisor this year!

Crystina is a rising sophomore at Rivier University majoring in Early Childhood Education. Her love for teaching stemmed from her two summers working as a Teaching Fellow for Breakthrough’s middle school program. She also has experience in healthcare and has certifications as both an LNA and EMT. She is delighted to start her second year as a college bound advisor! She cannot wait for an amazing year!

Eliazar is from Manchester, NH. Manchester is his hometown, but he is originally from Africa. It is located in the south east; it’s a small country called Burundi. He's so excited to be returning as an advisor this year! As a junior pursuing a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance, he's truly looking forward to supporting all the students and being a part of this incredible journey with Breakthrough.

Nathaniel Barrett is from Manchester, New Hampshire, where he taught at Breakthrough for 2 years and worked as the Operations Manager last summer. He is currently a Junior at Boston University, where he is studying International Relations with a minor in Education. Nathaniel is also involved in campus publications and research, such as the International Relations Review. In his spare time, Nathaniel loves running, games, literature, and chalistenics.

Sanela is a sophomore at Saint Anselm College, majoring in Health Sciences. She attended the Breakthrough College-Bound program her last two years of high school and is excited to return to Breakthrough as an advisor to her College-Bound students. She enjoys being around family, traveling, and going for hikes.

Briana is a freshman at the University of New Hampshire, studying biology on a pre-physician assistant and traditional Chinese medicine track. Some of Briana’s interest consist of playing tennis, running, doing pottery, and playing instruments. She is very excited to start her new journey with breakthrough and share her expertise with everyone.

Jennifer is a CB alumna and premed freshman majoring in Biological Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. She loves reading, musicals, and playing tennis! This is her first year with Breakthrough as an advisor.

Jessica is a sophomore at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Biomedical Sciences: Medical and Veterinary Sciences on a pre-vet track. Outside of school, she likes to bake, craft, collect trinkets, journal, and go hiking. Jessica is a Breakthrough Manchester and College-Bound alumna, having been in this program since middle school. She is excited to continue her journey at Breakthrough as an Advisor!

Kim is a sophomore at Endicott College and is majoring in Nursing. She was a Breakthrough student and College Bound student. She spends her time with family and family, enjoys shopping, traveling, and going to concerts.

Andy is a Breakthrough Manchester alum and a former teaching fellow in the middle school program. He is a freshman at Northeastern studying Data Science.

Shreela is a first year nursing student at the University of New England. Having recently gone through the College Bound program herself, she's excited to help students navigate their options and feel confident as they take their next steps toward college.

Starah is an incoming freshman at Southern New Hampshire University, majoring in Criminal Justice. She has been a part of the Breakthrough community for about 7 years now. She's been a student in the middle school program and College Bound, and now she gets to be an advisor. She likes listening to music, reading, hanging out with friends, and watching shows in her free time.
